We are delighted to announce that several opportunities have arisen at a brand new early years bi-ligual school in Cologne, Germany.
Please note these position are for English speaking graduates and you must have a qualification that is relevant, such as;
The school is based in the West of Cologne, around 20 minutes away from the City Centre and serves a very affluent area, with most children coming from families who hold ‘professional careers’. The school mix is 70% German and 30% International, but all teaching, workshops and communication is mainly in English. Speaking German is not necessarily essential, although will become helpful as time progresses.
As an Early Years practitioner, you will work within a set-open structure that is based around a child’s free choice of learning. Teacher ratio is 1:4. and you will be responsible to engage students and monitor their development within this international environment.
The school is looking for warm, loving, flexible and candidates who have a positive personality. They are looking for people with experience in working with toddlers and young children and has good observation and reflection skills. The job is to sensitively care for children from 1 to 6 years (feeding, changing diapers, bring to sleep, and playing). You will be observing and understanding the children and use the information to build an effective program for them.
The start date is ideally before Christmas, however a January 2018 start will be considered for the right candidate.
2,400 (Gross) Euros per Month, relevant taxes, health insurance and some pension contributions are deducted from this.

In order to be registered with the German government, candidates must have an Early Years Degree, Early Childhood Studies Degree or some Pre School equivalent Study.
