We are working closely with a secondary school in Enfield who are looking to recruit an excellent teacher to become their next full time Head of Department. You would need to be an experienced and excellent teacher with a proven track record of achieving high teaching standards. As a teacher at this school, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills with a thorough understanding of the curriculum and a passion for the subject. To become part of this exciting team you will need to show :
·Must have QTS with a solid employment history
·An ability to engage students of all levels into the subject
·Promote the GCSE and A level options to students
·To evaluate progress and meet department levels of progress
·Keeping accurate track records of students’ progress at KS4 and KS5
·To promote changes with the curriculum across the department
·Ensure all students have an equal opportunity to learn the subject.
Salary for this post is Main Pay Scale +TLR2. Starting in January 2019 on a long-term basis with a view to becoming a permanent member of staff.
