Due to an exciting expansion of our Education Alternative Provision Programme, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our centre in Stockport, Manchester for a Maths Teacher/Instructor.
At Castles Education, we specialise in opening and running provisions for KS4 and KS3 students who need that second chance, but mainstream education is not for them. We offer a judgement free, calm learning environment, which is run by reputable school leaders who have expertise in managing disengaged and disaffected learners.
Many of the learners we get already have an interest in the more “vocational” subjects; so attitudes and appetites to learning can be excellent. However, part of our program focuses on the core academic subjects.
Our centre in Stockport provides a full range of vocational subjects both on and off site to engage students back into education, with some students attending work experience placements to prepare them for life after secondary education.
