Castles Education in collaboration with one of our client schools are searching for an experienced SENCO (special education needs co-coordinator) to join a school in South East London from September. This post is part time, 4 days a week and is due to start in September 2018 on a temp to perm basis.
The school itself is a SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) alternative provision for secondary aged students who have been excluded from mainstream. Across two sites, the centres support and teach students with a range of needs including social, emotional, behaviours and/or mental health needs (SEMH). With some students attending on a day 6 provision while others will be finishing their KS3 and KS4 education.
The school is a “GOOD” school and the staff work hard to give every student the best education and opportunities to succeed.
Pay for the SENCO role will be comparable to scale.
