Successful candidates will have a patient nature and must have previous experience supporting behavioural needs for school aged children. Ideally candidates should be able to demonstrate awareness of de-escalation and diversion techniques. A current or expired Team-Teach qualification (or similar) is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in psychology, counselling or youth offending services are strongly encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will join the provision on a full time basis working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). We are looking for Teachers and Mentors who have experience engaging youth with social or behavioural difficulties.
This alternative education provision is in the centre of Lincoln. The work is paid at a highly competitive rate and should prove to be very rewarding for the right person. You must have an authoritative but engaging manner for this type of work and as such we are seeking candidates who have significant experience working in setting with challenging behaviour.
